Translations

As a scholar and translator, Cort has translated many classical works from the Tibetan tradition, ranging from seminal works on Buddhist philosophy to meditation manuals on specific forms of contemplative practice. His main area of interest is a specific form of meditation from the Tibetan tradition known as Dzogchen, or the Great Perfection, a profound set of instructions that provides access to pure, nondual awareness.

In addition to many unpublished practices and manuscripts, Cort has published twelve volumes of translations, some as a solo translator and some as a member of the Dharmachakra Translation Committee.
